How Much Does An Animated Explainer Video Cost From Narrartive?

A 60-second whiteboard video costs between $1,000 – $5,000+.

Pricing per minute can vary from $2000 – $3500+ for 60 seconds if there are no characters in the video. If you add characters or 3D elements then the price can grow up to $4500. If your video is just an infographic animation without a script or voice over, then the price will be around $1500-$2000+.

Costs start at $5500 – $9500+ per 60 seconds and can sometimes go higher than 50K. Generally in 3D animation, there are a lot of pricing variations and every small detail can bump up the costs. So it’s difficult to predetermine the pricing without having the storyboard or a detailed brief.

So How Long Is The Standard Production Process Then?

For a 60 second video, you can expect it to take 6-8 weeks to complete, from discovery to finalization.

What If I Have An Urgent Project That I Need Done Fast!

We can handle that if necessary for an additional fee (which depends on what you need and how fast you need it). But, we don’t recommend this option. There’s a lot of art involved in the process; a lot of meticulous attention to detail is put into the work we create. Producing animated videos is something we excel at, but as with anything creative, sometimes building amazing content requires trying out different ideas, seeing what works, and so on. This is all built into our standard delivery time, but when that time is compressed, it can be trickier to achieve, which is why we don’t recommend moving too quickly. After all, we want to be able to deliver the absolute best video possible for you!

What If I Want Changes

We provide 2 free revisions per stage. A revision is a minor change, a moderate tweak, or an adjustment. However, we do give the option of unlimited revisions for an agreed upon fee.

How Does Feedback Work?

As mentioned before, you will receive 2 rounds of revisions at each stage with a standard package (with the exception of the VO stage). You’ll have the opportunity to review the work at each of those junctures, and we’ll happily go over everything with you to see if we’re either on the right track, or if we need to make an adjustment.

Can You Provide Different Accents For The Voiceover?

Yes, we can provide any English accent you need. Queen’s English, southern American, Canadian, eastern Australian – we’ve got them all.

Can I Order Multiple Videos At The Same Time?

Sure! This will obviously increase the turnaround time, and we need to know this in advance so we don’t put designers on other projects, but we’ve done plenty of multi-video campaigns and we’d be happy to talk with you about that.

What Kind Of Video Style Will Work Best For Me Or My Business?

Honestly, there’s no right or wrong general answer here. One of the things we do during our discovery phase is use our expertise to guide you to a style and tone that fits your needs, goals, and budget.

Can You Create A Video For My Industry?

Yes, most likely. We’ve created over 200 videos for all sorts of businesses and industries, and we invite you to browse our portfolio for many examples. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, however, please reach out since we only post a fraction of what we’ve done on our site.

Can I Use My Own Script?

We have our own expert writers in-house that do amazing work to translate your brand and message into video, but if you have something already written, feel free to send it along and we will let you know if it will work or can work with a polish.

What Format Will I Get My Video In?

We always deliver finalized videos in a standard, universal, 1080p HD format that can be played on any device or uploaded to YouTube and other popular streaming services.

Once The Videos Is Finished, Who Owns The Rights?

You do!

How Do I Get Started?

As with any other business agreement, it starts with us sending you a contract. Then, once the contract is signed, you’ll be required to pay 50% of the fee up front and we can begin production.

When Do I Pay The Rest?

We make it as easy as possible for you by splitting the fee into two equal payments. 50% is owed up front, and the other 50% is due upon completion of your video. We have two simple options for payment; either Wire Transfer or Payoneer.
